We had a wonderful weekend visiting the car show in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This is a car show that I participated in for 12 years when I had my ‘87 Fiero. I sure don’t miss the heat on that asphault, but I do miss showing my car and talking with the other inthusist…………….Got to go ……..more later

Our competitive neighbors, Bev and Steve Hochmuth, join us once a month for Wii Day. As pictured, Faye and Bev race four courses in “Mario Kart”. The day is filled with intense competition playing golf, tennis, bowling, racing and Link Crossbow Target shooting. As Steve so elequently pens “I need to kill something”! What a stress buster! Naturally, the day also includes FOOD…usually one of Bev’s delicious (all calories deleted) desserts.
Happy 4th of July!!! Can you say “PATRIOTIC”? Our day was filled with the company of dear friends. Two parties (how blessed are we?) and the ususal , very tasty, festive foods: hot dogs, hamburgers, and apple pie? Oops, no apple pie. However, banana pudding and blueberry extravagange filled that spot. We ended the day with neighborhood fireworks. The cats, shaking with fear, huddled in corners of the house. No animals or humans were injured by the flying sparks and explosions! God Bless America and each of our wonderful friends and family!

They’re pretty bossy at the “relaxing” hot sulfur springs place.
We drove four hours to take the “healing” sulfur waters of Hot Sulphur Springs, Colo. It’s like being slowly suffocated under a blanket…but wetter. But boy do you feel relaxed after you emerge into the cool air of the real world.
